IEDC MESCE in collaboration with MATRICS conducted Codeathon 2.0 – Coding Competition on 29th November 2023 for the students of MES College of Engineering. The competition consisted of three rounds: a technical quiz and output prediction, a pattern printing round, and a scenario-based coding challenge. The first round tested the students’ basic programming knowledge, while the second round evaluated their understanding of loops and algorithms. The third round was a challenging scenario-based coding problem that required participants to write code to solve complex problems in a limited amount of time.
The competition was hosted on HackerRank, a well-known online platform for coding challenges. The questions for the competition were created by volunteers from both IEDC and MATRICS, with each side contributing two volunteers. This collaboration ensured a fair and well-rounded set of questions that tested the participants’ skills. Overall, the Codeathon 2.0 was a great success and was well-received by the participants. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their coding skills and connect with others who shared their interests. The collaboration between IEDC and MATRICS was a great example of teamwork and demonstrated the positive impact it can have on organizing successful events.
