On February 23, 2023, the Women Entrepreneurs group from MES Ponnani College visited the WOW IEDC at MES College of Engineering to learn about the IEDC MESCE’s activities and initiatives for women entrepreneurs.
Upon arrival, the IEDC MESCE EXECOM welcomed the visitors and explained the various programs and initiatives undertaken by the organization to promote entrepreneurship and innovation among women. The visitors were then taken on a tour of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship facilities, including the TBI and the Mini Fab Lab, where they learned about the advanced machines and equipment available to help entrepreneurs grow and succeed.
During the visit, the members of MES Ponnani College were particularly interested in the support programs offered to women entrepreneurs, including workshops, training programs, and events. They were also introduced to the various initiatives aimed at providing mentorship, guidance, funding and investment opportunities, and support for product development and market entry.
At the end of the visit, the members of MES Ponnani College were satisfied with the knowledge and information they had gained, and they appreciated the efforts made by the IEDC MESCE EXECOM to provide them with a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s operations and initiatives. In conclusion, the visit was a valuable experience for the members of MES Ponnani College, as it provided them with a better understanding of the opportunities available for women entrepreneurs and the support systems that exist to help them succeed. The visit reinforced the importance of fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among women and highlighted the role that organizations like the IEDC MESCE can play in this regard.
