On 3rd November 2022, the WOW IEDC MESCE in association with IEDC KMEA organized a panel discussion on Enlightening Startup Mind among Youth at KMEA Engineering College, Aluva. The event, named Dyota ‘22, aimed to inspire and motivate the students of KMEA Engineering College towards entrepreneurship and startups.
Reema Shaji, with her vast experience in leadership, shared her insights on the challenges and opportunities one can face. She encouraged the students to take the first step towards entrepreneurship, emphasizing that there is never a perfect time to start a business, but one must take the risk and start early.
Nida Mehar, a successful entrepreneur and founder of Zeepot Innovations, shared her story of how she turned her passion for technology into a successful business. She motivated the students to follow their passions and turn their ideas into successful businesses. Nida also spoke about the importance of having a strong support system and the role of incubators in the success of startups.
The students were given the opportunity to interact with Reema and Nida and clear their doubts and queries. The panel discussion was followed by a Q&A session, where the students actively participated and asked questions related to entrepreneurship, startups, and their future plans.
The panel discussion was a great success and received a positive response from the students. The students were motivated and inspired by the stories of Reema and Nida, and many of them expressed their desire to start their own ventures. The panel discussion provided the students with valuable insights and information on the startup ecosystem and the opportunities available for young entrepreneurs. The event helped to create awareness and encouraged the students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.
