IEDC MESCE hosted a session Expecto Patronum on 11th February 2023 in accordance with Inspiria ‘23, the annual flagship event of IEDC MESCE conducted on 10th, 11th and 12th of February 2023. The session was handled by Mr. Umer Abdussalam, the CEO of Edapt, a startup that focuses on developing innovative technology solutions for businesses and communities.
The topic of the session was centered around community in technology and the importance of technology in a community, as well as how the two are closely interlinked. The session began with an introduction by Mr. Abdussalam, who emphasized the importance of creating a strong community through technology. He spoke about how technology has revolutionized the way people communicate and interact with each other and how it can be used to build communities, share knowledge, and support social causes.
Mr. Abdussalam also shared his experiences of how his organization Edapt leverages technology to solve problems that are faced by communities. He spoke about how his team developed an app that helped farmers in rural areas get real-time information about crop prices, weather patterns, and other relevant data. He emphasized that this app not only helped the farmers in their day-to-day activities but also brought the community together as people started sharing information and collaborating with each other.

Mr. Abdussalam shared insights into how building a strong community around a product can help in its growth and success. He spoke about how companies like Apple and Google have created strong communities around their products, which has helped them in creating a loyal customer base and driving sales.
