On 3rd December 2023, the College Auditorium was abuzz with enlightenment as Ms. Noureen Aysha presented “Cycle Candies” – an insightful session focusing on “Empowering Period Positivity” and unraveling essential awareness on menstrual health. This program was an integral part of the flagship event “LaBelle ’23,” orchestrated by WOW IEDC MESCE under IEDC MESCE.
Ms. Noureen Aysha captivated the audience with an in-depth discussion covering crucial aspects of menstrual hygiene. She emphasized the superiority of menstrual cups over other methods, shedding light on their benefits while imparting valuable awareness regarding hygiene practices.
An exceptional component of the session was the unique opportunity provided to male participants. Under the guidance of professionals, boys were given the chance to experience simulated period cramps using a period pain simulation machine. This hands-on experience aimed to instill empathy and understanding about the discomfort associated with menstrual cycles.
