Sorting Hat


The “Sorting Hat” ice breaking session was a part of the annual flagship event of IEDC MESCE Inspiria 23, held on February 10th, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The session was conducted by Mr. Shakeel Ahammed and was based on the theme of the popular Harry Potter series. The objective of the session was to bring the participants together and to create an atmosphere of fun and interaction among them, breaking the ice and helping them get to know each other better.

The session started with a brief introduction of the sorting hat concept, inspired by the Harry Potter series. The sorting hat, in the books and movies, was used to determine which of the four houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry each student would belong to. The introduction set the tone for the session and got the participants excited about the activities to come.

The participants were then divided into smaller groups and were asked to participate in various interactive activities designed to get them to know each other better. The activities were a mix of fun games and thought-provoking exercises that encouraged the participants to share their interests, skills, and personality traits with each other. The activities were designed to bring out the creativity and teamwork skills of the participants and to help them feel more comfortable and confident with each other.

The session was lively and filled with laughter and fun, creating a relaxed atmosphere for the participants. The “Sorting Hat” ice breaking session was attended by a total of 140+ participants and volunteers. The volunteers were an integral part of the session and played a key role in making it a success. They assisted Mr. Shakeel Ahammed in conducting the activities and made sure that everything was running smoothly. The volunteers also helped with setting up the venue and making sure that the participants had everything they needed.

In conclusion, the “Sorting Hat” ice breaking session was a well-planned and executed event that was a huge success. The creative concept and engaging activities made it enjoyable for the participants and helped them get to know each other better. The session was a great start to the annual flagship event of IEDC MESCE Inspiria 23 and set the tone for the rest of the event. The participation of 91 attendees and the contribution of 45 volunteers made the session a memorable experience for everyone involved.
